PJK upholds a strict policy against all forms of plagiarism to ensure the originality and integrity of the scholarly works it publishes. The journal is fully committed to disseminating original research and adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics. This policy outlines PJK’s definition of plagiarism, the procedures used for plagiarism screening prior to the review process, and the actions taken when plagiarism is detected. All authors submitting manuscripts to PJK are required to affirm that their work is original, free from any form of plagiarism, and has not been previously published or under consideration in another journal. PJK strictly enforces the following principles:

  • Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited;
  • Authors must ensure that their submitted manuscript is entirely original. If the work or words of others are used, appropriate citation and quotation must be provided;
  • Authors must not submit manuscripts describing essentially the same research to more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable;
  • Proper acknowledgment of the work of others is mandatory. Authors must cite all publications that have significantly influenced the conception, design, or interpretation of the research being reported.

Working Process:

  1. The Editorial Team conducts an initial plagiarism screening manually, using both offline and online databases to verify the accuracy of citations, quotations, and the originality of the manuscript.
  2. The Editorial Team also checks each manuscript using the Turnitin application. If the similarity index exceeds 25%, indicating potential plagiarism, the manuscript will be immediately rejected by the editorial board. However, the journal recognizes that similarity indices require careful interpretation.
