Pancasila: Jurnal Keindonesiaan (PJK) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published biannually (April and October) by the Agency for Fostering Pancasila Ideology, Republic of Indonesia. The journal serves as an international platform for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to contribute scholarly works that explore both theoretical and practical dimensions of Pancasila’s implementation in various aspects of life, social phenomena, and public policy. It welcomes contributions not only from Indonesian authors but also from international scholars interested in studying, comparing, or applying the values of Pancasila in global contexts. As the philosophical foundation of the Indonesian state, Pancasila embodies universal values such as belief in the divine, humanity, unity, democracy, and social justice, which remain relevant for interdisciplinary and cross-cultural academic discussions worldwide. We welcome manuscript submissions that align with the journal’s focus and scope.

PJK is an open-access journal, providing free and unlimited access to all published articles to support broader dissemination and academic collaboration. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic integrity and objectivity. Authors are expected to carefully read and follow the author guidelines and use the provided template manuscript. Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines or use a different format will be rejected before review. Please note that any manuscript found to have a plagiarism similarity index above 25% will be immediately rejected. Plagiarism detection is conducted using iThenticate by Turnitin.

The focus and scope of this journal encompass a broad range of studies within the fields of social sciences and humanities, particularly those that explore, analyze, and develop the values, philosophy, and implementation of Pancasila as the foundational ideology of the Indonesian nation. This journal seeks to become a forum for intellectual discourse, research dissemination, and critical reflection on the relevance of Pancasila in various dimensions of national and global life.

The focus and scope of this journal are social sciences and humanities issues in the fields of:

  • History of Pancasila (Sejarah Pancasila);
  • Ideology of Pancasila (Ideologi Pancasila);
  • Philosophy of Pancasila (Filsafat Pancasila);
  • Democracy of Pancasila (Demokrasi Pancasila);
  • Economy of Pancasila (Ekonomi Pancasila);
  • Human Rights (Hak Asasi Manusia);
  • Citizenship (Kewarganegaraan).

In addition to focusing on Indonesia, this journal also welcomes contributions from international scholars who are interested in comparative studies, philosophical interpretations, or contextual analyses of Pancasila and its universal values such as humanity, justice, democracy, and unity within broader global discourses.
