Author Guidelines

General Information

  1. Generally, article should be written in with font: Baskerville Old Face, font size: 12, single spacing, no space before and after paragraph,
  2. ach article should be accompanied by the following information:
    • The title of the article, the title is written in Baskerville Old Face, size: 14 pt, style: Bold, Align Left and Capital Each Word, Maximum 14 words. Not using acronym, name of regulation, place of research, or cliché words such as: analysys, review, etc.
    • The author’s name (write full name of the author without any qualifications), affiliation/institutional, state, and email. That information should be written in small caps, starting with capital letters with single line spacing.
    • The number of author could be more than 1 by adding comma ( , ). The correspondent author should be marked as “ * “. Corresponding author clearly indicate who will handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication, also post-publication. Also should be marked with fitur superscript at Ms. Office or similar software.

  3. Abstracts are written with Baskerville Old Face (10 pt) and preferably not more than 250 words. Abstract is provided in English and Indonesian if the article is written in Indonesian. Consist of 1 (one) Paragraph with single spacing. The abstract should be clear, concise, and descriptive
  4. Keywords should be written immediately after the abstract, consisting of 2-5 keywords, separated by a semicolon (;), ending with a period punctuation mark (.)
  5. The word limit for the submission is 4000-8000 words (including of bodynotes, abstract, figures and tables).
  6. Reference (bibliography) should more than 15% of noted reference are cordially based on primary reference (scientific journal). References that may be referred is all the publications in the last 10 (ten) years, except for certain references that have not been re-published. Written in American Psychological Association (APA) 6th Edition. Please use Reference Manager Applications like EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc. All publications cited in the text should be included as a list of Bibliography, arranged alphabetically by author. Wikipedia and personal blog are not allowed to be used as article sources

 

Paper Format

This journal welcomes research article and conceptual article. Submission of an article implied that the work has not been published previously, that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

The guideline for research article or conceptual as follows:

  1. Introduction: Introduction should be clear and provide the issue to be discussed in the article. Introduction for research article should be consist of the problem background, theoritical framework, state of the art previous research, and problems and gap analysis. As for conceptual article contains a description of the background of the problem, state of the art and novelty of articles from other articles that have been written before. At the end of the paragraph, the author should end with a comment on the significance concerning identification of the issue.
  2. Research Method: The method written in descriptive. This Method are optional, only for original research articles.
  3. Analysis or Result Discussion: This section is the most important section of the article. Contains the results of the object of study and should be clear and concise. This should explore the significance of the results of the work; avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.
  4. Conclusion: The conclusion may be presented in a short, which may stand alone or form a different section of a Analysis and Discussion section.

Quotations

For direct quotation with more than 4 lines should be in a separate paragraph with left indentation 1,27 cm, justified, and use single line spacing.

 

Bibliography

The bibliography should be written in the end of the articles, titled “Bibliography”, written in Baskerville Old Face, 12, single spacing and indent on the second line of each bibliography. Please use American Psychological Association 6th Edition for footnotes and bibliography, as sampled below:

  • One author

    Author’s last name, author’s first name, year of publishing with (…), title of book (italic), city of publisher: publisher. For example:

  • Two authors

Main Headings of Article

Following main headings should be provided in the article while preparing. Main headings, sub-headings and sub-sub headings should be numbered in the article with the following example:

Descriptions that use bullets or arabic numerals must follow the sentence. Avoided to be made in the form of points down. Example: So far, there are two systems for updating voter data, namely: a) updating of active voter data; and b) passive data updating.

 

Figures and Tables

The figures should be clearly readable and at least have a resolution of 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch) for good printing quality. Table made with the close model (with the vertical lines).
