Manuscript Preparation
Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that fall within the focus and scope of the Pancasila: Jurnal Keindonesiaan Journal. Please read the information on the peer-review process. The articles published in Pancasila: Jurnal Keindonesiaan Journal are going through a Double-blind peer-review policies. Hence, the decision on whether the scientific article is accepted or not, will be the Editorial Board’s right based on the peer reviewer's recommendation.

Please read and follow the author’s guidelines for manuscript preparation. Authors submitting a manuscript must adhere to the guidelines and template provided. Manuscripts that do not follow these instructions or use a different format will be rejected by the editorial team prior to review. Only manuscripts that meet all specified formatting requirements will be accepted for further processing.

Manuscript file
All manuscript files should be prepared in an editable file using an appropriate word processing package and saved as .docx or .rtf, manuscript files.

Manuscript Languages
Pancasila: Jurnal Keindonesiaan
accepts articles in Indonesian and in English, make sure the use of words, phrases, and sentences is in accordance with the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI) and American English Grammar for articles in English languages.

General Information

  1. Generally, article should be written in with font: Baskerville Old Face, font size: 12, single spacing, no space before and after paragraph;
  2. The title of the article should be written in Baskerville Old Face, font size 14 pt, bold, left-aligned, and using Capital Each Word. The title must not exceed 14 words and should not contain acronyms, names of regulations, research locations, or cliché terms such as analysis, review, and similar generic expressions;
  3. The author’s name (written in full without academic titles), affiliation/institution, country, and email address must be written in small caps, starting with capital letters, using single line spacing. If there is more than one author, list all names separated by commas (,). The corresponding author must be clearly indicated as the person responsible for handling all correspondence during submission, peer review, publication, and post-publication.

  4. Abstracts are written with Baskerville Old Face (10 pt) and preferably not more than 250 words. Abstract is provided in English and Indonesian if the article is written in Indonesian. Consist of 1 (one) Paragraph with single spacing. The abstract should be clear, concise, and descriptive
  5. Keywords should be written immediately after the abstract, consisting of 2-5 keywords, separated by a semicolon (;), ending with a period punctuation mark (.)
  6. The word limit for the submission is 4000-8000 words (including of bodynotes, abstract, figures and tables).
  7. References must consist of more than 15% primary sources (scientific journals) and should preferably come from publications issued within the last ten (10) years, except for essential works that have not been republished. All citations and bibliography entries must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition style and be managed using a reference manager such as Mendeley. Every source cited in the text must appear in the Reference list, arranged alphabetically by author, while non-academic sources such as Wikipedia and personal blogs are not permitted. The bibliography must be placed at the end of the article under the heading “References,” written in Baskerville Old Face, 12 pt, single-spaced, with a hanging indent applied to the second and subsequent lines, in accordance with PJK formatting guidelines as demonstrated in the manuscript template.
Paper Format

This journal welcomes research article and conceptual article. Submission of an article implied that the work has not been published previously, that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

The guideline for research article or conceptual as follows:

  1. Introduction: Introduction should be clear and provide the issue to be discussed in the article. Introduction for research article should consist of the problem background, theoretical framework, state of the art previous research, and problems and gap analysis. As for conceptual article contains a description of the background of the problem, state of the art and novelty of articles from other articles that have been written before. At the end of the paragraph, the author should end with a comment on the significance concerning identification of the issue.
  2. Research Method: The method should be written descriptively. This section is optional and required only for original research articles. Conceptual articles do not require a Research Method section.
  3. Analysis or Result Discussion: This section is the most important section of the article. Contains the results of the object of study and should be clear and concise. This should explore the significance of the results of the work; avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.
  4. Conclusion: The conclusion may be presented in a short, which may stand alone or form a different section of an Analysis and Discussion section.

Quotations
For direct quotation with more than 4 lines should be in a separate paragraph with left indentation 1,27 cm, justified, and use single line spacing.

Main Headings of Article
Following main headings should be provided in the article while preparing. Main headings, sub-headings and sub-sub headings should be numbered in the article with the following example:

Descriptions that use bullets or arabic numerals must follow the sentence. Avoided to be made in the form of points down. Example: So far, there are two systems for updating voter data, namely: a) updating of active voter data; and b) passive data updating.

Figures and Tables
The figures should be clearly readable and at least have a resolution of 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch) for good printing quality. Table made with the close model (with the vertical lines).
