Archiving Policy
Archiving Policy
Pancasila: Jurnal Keindonesiaan is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and permanent accessibility of all published scholarly content. We recognize the importance of safeguarding the academic record for future researchers, educators, policymakers, and the wider public.
To guarantee the durability and availability of all articles, Pancasila: Jurnal Keindonesiaan implements a comprehensive, multi-layered digital preservation strategy.
1. Publisher's Digital Archive (Internal Preservation)
All published content is securely stored on the primary servers managed by the Pusat Data Teknologi Informasi, Badan Pembinaan Ideologi Pancasila (BPIP). These servers are maintained by the institution’s IT division and undergo routine backups as well as data integrity checks to ensure long-term accessibility and protection against data loss.
2. Third-Party Preservation Network (PKP PN)
This journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to ensure long-term digital preservation. As an OJS-based journal, Pancasila: Jurnal Keindonesiaan utilizes PKP PN, which provides a secure, distributed, LOCKSS-based preservation system. This guarantees that all published content remains accessible even if the journal’s main website becomes unavailable.
3. National Repository Preservation
To strengthen redundancy and national accessibility, the journal also deposits and preserves all published articles in the following national repository:
-
Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital) – All articles are indexed and archived in Garuda, the national scholarly database managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia.
4. Author Self-Archiving
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the final published version (Version of Record) of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other non-commercial repositories immediately after publication.
To maintain the integrity of the scholarly record, authors must include complete bibliographic information and a link to the article’s page on the journal website, along with the article’s DOI.
5. Perpetual Access
In the event that Pancasila: Jurnal Keindonesiaan ceases publication, BPIP—acting as the publisher—will ensure that the journal’s entire archive remains permanently accessible through the PKP Preservation Network, the Garuda portal, and the publisher’s internal digital archives.
